Throwback Italy

The Italian wine I had last night, was still running through my veins today. It made me think of my trip to Venice earlier this year. What a happy place was that!  I had just freed myself of my unthankful job and left. I left the job, the country and all negativity behind!

Hello Italy, with its fine wines, food, beautiful language and flirty guys :)

Place to be : Generator hostel

I can tell you, 2 days is really enough in Venice if you go alone or just with a friend and not your lover. Venice didn't feel that magical or romantic at all, but that's probably because I wasn't in the muscled arms of a hotstud in a gondola with a gondolieri singing a serenade :D

What interested me most was to taste some local specialities. Hard to find tough amongst all the touristic places. I did find a good "bicchiere di vinno rosso" in a cute little jazzy bar.

Of course I had to mark my presence on their wall...

Speaking about my presence...a team of cameramen spotted me and my friend. They were shooting a commercial for a bag, Le Pandorine.

"Do you want to dance for us with this bag in a gondola?"

If you know me, you know what my answer was...

They ware playing "Happy - Pharrell Williams" - I was very happy afterwards with the pink Pandorine bag I could keep :)

This Belgian weather really makes you wander and daydream (and nightdream, cardream, showerdream,...) about vacation and warm destinations. Brrr...
