Time. Time flies. Time is becoming a luxury item.
I always try to have enough quality time with every important person in my life. I've moved out from my parent's house since I was 18 and I try to be a good daughter and visit them every Sunday. We sometimes have dinner together, but most of the time I'm rushing and only stay for an hour. I feel bad about that, but weekends are just too short!
This year I wanted to make up for my absence and I went on a road trip with mom and dad to our home country Romania. Research and good planning resulted in very efficient use of time. I wanted to get the maximum out of it and visit a few 'must-sees' on the way.
1. visiting friends @ Timisoara
Just outside the city, friends of ours created their own little piece of heaven. House, biological veggie garden, wood processing company and dedication for the development of their only son. Admirable!
They took us to visit awesome waterfalls, a scenic holiday lake house (where I'm going to spend a week next *wink wink*) and at night I visited the city center.

2. Transfagaraseanul - Top Gear "best road in the world"
High speed, hairpin turns, sports cars,...that's what I had in mind. Yeah, I was driving a speedy car and the turns were there, but scary mom in the back seat kinda ruined the plans and my top speed hardly reached 90 km/h. The view mas magnificent tough!
3. Castles - Dracula & Peles
Bully or not, the guy knew about home deco :) The Dracula castle was charming, lots of small chambers, scenic view from the first floor terrace and gorgeous garden!

Oh forgot to mention the attic floor with all the torture machinery...
The Peles castle is a pearl! Romania once had a king and he lived royally, high in the mountains. The waiting line for entering the castle was too long tough and we had lots of kilometers to go, so...maybe next time :(
4. Final destination: home town Constanta
3 days time: visit grandma in the countryside, go to the beach (give me a break okay?), visit other family, see friends, visit vineyard of Murfatlar to buy some wine...aint.got.enough.time.
But I did it anyway!
