I'm surprised how easy it is to start over. I mean a life. A new life in a new place.
How to?
1. Choose a location
2. Go there
3. Get yourself a roof over your head
4. Get yourself a job. Just ask people if they know anyone who needs help and sum up your skills. Or just walk in and ask if they are hiring. Search the local jobmarket (internet, newspaper, the announcement wall in the local supermarket). Contact companies by e-mail or via facebook.
5. Enroll in the local gym or whatever your hobby might be. You get to know people real fast and make friends.
This sounds easy. Probably easier than it is in reality. Tough in Aruba it worked for me that easy. But I already had a roof over my had and knew a few people, but that also being the only -voorsprong-.

Find yourself a project where you can volunteer. Some projects are for a week, others for a few months, it depends. That gives you time to figure everything out. Plus, you are hosted by locals so they can help you out with information and advice. If you're lucky maybe they know someone who has a room for rent or is hiring at the moment.
I wonder if you sometimes think about moving to another country or even to another continent maybe. I know I was daydreaming about living in Italy when I was back home. Maybe I should follow my "how to" guide myself and give it a try somewhere in the future.
Oh I forgot, there should be another item in between 1 (picking location) and 2 (going there), which is: growing balls.
Jump! I'm on the trampoline right know, I only don't know how high I want to jump. But remember, while jumping on that trampoline of life, you have to go down every now and then, otherwise you cannot jump higher than before.
I admit I too had my moments when I was insecure, not knowing if I would be able to pay the rent the next month. But if you hang in there and really want something to work out, then it will!
